I went through your website and am new to your brand. Where can I learn more about the use of each of your products?

The best way to start learning about our products is through our monthly live webinar where you not only can gain knowledge about our product line but also ask questions to the presenter directly about our products. If interested, please click here to sign up.

Are your products safe for diabetics?

All Footlogix products are safe for diabetics, non-occlusive, alcohol- free with no added oils or fragrances.

Are Footlogix pedicures advised for pregnant women?

Since Footlogix products penetrate the layers of the epidermis and not into the bloodstream, the products are safe. However, because of the active ingredients present in the anti-fungal formulas (Peeling Skin, Rough Skin and Anti-fungal Tincture), we would suggest your client get a doctor's approval before using them. If the client is coming to you for a pedicure in her first trimester, a suggestion would be to not use the Exfoliating Seaweed Scrub and the Massage Formula. However, the massage formula is not a problem as long as the massage technique used is light effleurage only. (that’s with any massage product).

Does Footlogix sell its products to Walmart?

Footlogix does not sell to Walmart –neither online nor in brick & mortar locations. We sell only to authorized distributors. Unfortunately, Walmart.com is very similar to other 3rd party selling sites that sell unauthorized and expired Footlogix products. When a customer buys Footlogix products, we trust that the supply chain is not broken and that the products are sold directly to their customers, instead of diverted to unauthorized 3rd party resellers – like Walmart.com. We are doing our best to monitor this, because we find that these third party resellers are often selling expired or counterfeit products. We suggest that you ensure your customers are aware of this malpractice and stop buying from unauthorized dealers as they do not know how they are taken for a ride. Footlogix continues to be committed to the professional market and does not condone diversion.

Does urea mean that there is an extract of urine in your products?

We get asked this question very often - does urea mean that there is an extract of urine in your products? No. Urea is a humectant that is found within all sorts of products in the cosmetic industry. It is manufactured in the lab. Its role within the Stratum Corneum (the outer layer of skin) is to maintain a healthy moisture balance. Often dry skin is due to a reduction of urea in the skin’s delicate tissues, which can lead to tightness and flakiness. The percentage of urea in our products varies depending on the moisture level of the foot. Therefore, a client with cracked heels will need added moisture and would be recommended the Footlogix Cracked Heel Formula, which has a relatively higher percentage of urea in it. On the contrary, if a client has a foot with peeling skin that already has moisture in it - he/she should use a product that does not add further moisture into the skin. For such a client, we would recommend the use of the Footlogix Peeling Skin Formula, which has a relatively lower percentage of urea in it.

Do your products come in travel/sample sizes?

We have mini DD Cream and Rough Skin mousse bottles of 35 ml/1.18 , which are available through Footlogix distributors.

Does Footlogix offer a salon opener package, if a salon wants to replace its current pedicure products?

Are there local distributors or do we have to order straight from Footlogix?

We usually encourage you to go to our finder and look for a distributor here: http://footlogix.com/where-to-buy/ and select "Wholesale". However, if you do not have a distributor close to you, you can order from our order desk. Simply call 1-888-442-4408 to order or write to orders@kvggroup.com

I found Footlogix on Amazon. I thought only professional salons are able to sell this product.

We are working very hard to remove all third-party sellers on Amazon who are violating the Minimum Advertised Price Agreement with Footlogix. If any product is sold there, it should be matched with the MSRP price and not the professional price.

Are Footlogix products safe for people with cancer?

All Footlogix products are absolutely safe for people with cancer or who are undergoing cancer treatment. All products only penetrate into the epidermis so nothing passes into the blood stream. The skin on anyone who has a compromised immune system, such as caused by cancer treatment, is usually dry. The urea, part of the body’s natural moisturizing factor, in the Footlogix products aids in keeping the skin well-moisturized and therefore more healthy, thus lessening the chance of micro-lesions, which could become a portal of entry for infection. The Footlogix DD Cream Mousse has highly efficacious antimicrobial properties, which result in a stronger skin barrier for healthier, happier feet.

Are there any marketing materials such as one sheets or posters we can use to market the products?

Yes, we have a set of three 18 X 24 inches posters that your distributor should be able to provide you. Please write to marketing@footlogix.com, if you are looking for other marketing materials such as images, video tutorials etc.

What if we are using some of the products not all of the products?

You don’t necessarily have to use all the products. Each Footlogix Formula is for a unique condition. For example, we have the Cracked Heel Formula for dry, deeply split and cracked heels and Peeling Skin for Athlete's Foot. You don’t want to recommend both these formulas to your client at the same time.

Which products do we retail to clients and which are professional?

All Footlogix products come in retail sizes except the Callus Softener that is used as a professional formula during pedicures.

Would you recommend layering the Footlogix's products if clients have more than one problem or is there a method to tackle one by one?

Some Footlogix products can be clubbed together depending on the client’s condition on the skin of the feet. The best would be to share a picture of your client’s foot through email at communications@footlogix.com. We will take a look and recommend the right Footlogix product.

What do the numbers on your bottles mean?

We had initially started with the numbering system on our bottles to differentiate our formulas for the conditions they treat. However, with rebranding, we have made it easier for our customers to differentiate our formulas through colour codes. For example, the bottles with blue coloured feet on the labels indicate moisturizing solutions; the red ones indicate our anti-fungal/anti-microbial solutions. At the same time, to not confuse our old customers we continued to have the numbering on.

Does Footlogix conduct tests on animals too? What kind of testing do you do?

Footlogix does not test on animals, or do not use any animal-derived ingredients in any of our products.  Here are the kinds of testing we do:

Microbiology and Preservative Efficacy Testing:

A test for the risk of microbiological susceptibility of the products (how likely they are to be contaminated with bacteria etc.)

Stability Test

A test to determine if the product stays in good condition under reasonable storage conditions during the product’s shelf life.

Packaging Interaction

A test to make sure that there are no unwanted interactions between the container and the product None of these tests involve testing on animals.

Is Footlogix the head company, or is there a parent company?

Footlogix is a third party manufacturer, headquartered in Toronto. We are the parent/holding company that partners with authorized resellers and retailers for distribution.

How can we get the Client Consultation Forms?

If you are looking for consultation pads, please contact your distributor. If you are in need of an image, please email communications@footlogix.com.

Are Footlogix products vegan and toxic-free?

Footlogix products do not contain any animal-derived ingredients. Therefore, they would be considered vegan. With regard to toxins, all of our formulas and ingredients adhere to the standards and guidelines set out by governing regulatory bodies, such as Health Canada and the FDA. As well, all of the ingredients in our products are present in concentrations, which are proven to be safe for our customers.

Can Footlogix cure Psoriasis?

Footlogix® can provide great results treating the symptoms of psoriasis, such as redness, itching and flaking skin, but we cannot cure it.

Start with a daily application of the Footlogix® Rough Skin Formula in the morning and the DD Mousse at night. After two weeks of twice daily application, the skin will be improved and the client will then just need to maintain a daily application, alternating between the Rough Skin Formula and the DD Mousse. Once the symptoms have cleared, the Daily Maintenance Formula and the DD Mousse are recommended to keep the skin properly moisturized.

Can you apply heated mitts after applying the Very Dry Skin Formula and then apply the Massage Formula during a pedicure/ foot care service?

Yes, any other services used such as heated socks and paraffin should all be done after the mousse application and before the Massage Formula.

Do Footlogix® products/ingredients contain perfume or traces of nuts?

The Foot Fresh Spray, Shoe Fresh Spray, Massage Formula, Cuticle Conditioner Lotion and Foot Soak all contain fragrance. The rest of the Footlogix® products do not have any perfume ingredients. One of the reasons why the products work so well for everyone is because the majority of the product line is fragrance-free. Footlogix® products are all nut-free and safe for nut-allergies.

What is the average duration of a Footlogix® Pedicure?

We would recommend that you allow for 1 hour when booking in Footlogix® pedicures. This may
vary due to the results of each individual's consultation.
