A professional pedicure is more than just a beauty treatment—it’s an essential part of foot health. The Footlogix® Foot Care Service Protocol is designed to provide a results-driven, safe, and effective foot care experience. This step-by-step guide ensures that every client receives expert care tailored to their foot care needs.
Step 1: Consult
Start by having your client fill out the Footlogix® Pedicure Consultation Form. This helps identify foot concerns, medical conditions, or allergies. While they complete the form, enhance their experience by refreshing their feet with a spray of Footlogix® Foot Fresh Deodorant before evaluation.
Step 2: Evaluate
Review the client’s form, remove nail polish, and conduct a visual assessment of the feet and legs. If there are no open wounds or abrasions, begin soaking the feet and apply the Three R’s: Recognize, Recommend, and Refer.
Note: Do not service any clients with broken skin, open wounds, ulcers or abrasions. Refer them to a medical professional, if necessary.
Step 3: Prepare
Add one pump of Footlogix® Foot Soak to a foot bath and soak the feet for five to ten minutes to soften the skin.
While soaking, spray Footlogix® Shoe Fresh into the client’s shoes to eliminate bacteria.
Note: Soak less than five minutes if the client is Diabetic.
Step 4: Exfoliate
Pat feet dry and apply Footlogix® Exfoliating Seaweed Scrub in circular motions. This step promotes circulation and doubles as a detoxifying treatment when wrapped in warm or cool towels.
Step 5: Nail Care
Apply Footlogix® Cuticle Softener to each nail and allow it to absorb for 60 seconds before removing excess debris. Next, spray Footlogix® Callus Softener on calluses and dry skin for easy reduction.
Step 6: Skin Care
Once the callus softener has been absorbed, and the skin is no longer wet, but slightly tacky, trim the toenails and file down calluses using the Footlogix® Stainless Steel File. The product continues to hydrate, so rinsing is not necessary.
Note: Reapply Callus Softener and Cuticle Softener as required.
Step 7: Rejuvenate
Massage Footlogix® Very Dry Skin Formula or DD Cream Mousse into the skin, paying extra attention to dry and callused areas. Apply Footlogix® Cuticle Conditioner to further hydrate the nail area.
Step 8: Massage
Complete the service with a soothing foot and lower leg massage using Footlogix® Massage Formula. This non-greasy formula leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.
Step 9: Beautify
If desired, apply nail polish. While it dries, discuss ongoing home care solutions to maintain foot health.
Step 10: Recommend
Provide your client with a personalized home care plan, recommending Footlogix® products that will support their foot care routine between professional visits.
